The aim of the educational program corresponds with Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University Mission; it is focused on employment market and it is achievable. Bachelor’s study program is designed to develop and establish the values based on the ideals of democracy and humanism; create conditions for the realization of its personal resources and development of creative skills; Qualified psychologist should be trained by offering quality education according to the modern standards of higher education; Prepare staff for work in the field of psychology; Using theoretical aspects and research elements of study disciplines provided by the educational program prepare a student for further studies in the master's degree program; to introduce a bachelor basic aspects of contemporary knowledge of psychology based on general education, current news, development trends, field history, modern trends and theories; To introduce the main trends of psychological thought development, main conceptual systems of classical psychology; The most important methodological and theoretical problems of psychology; History of development and origin of the main fields of psychology; Current tasks, basic concepts and visions, cross-cultural and interdisciplinary aspects; Theoretical and empirical experience of personality; develop professional approach to psychological activity and ability to solve problems; Prepare for independent psychological activity; Graduates will be competitive in the labour market.

Bachelor's professional activity sphere, object and activity types

Bachelor Degree program Graduates "Psychology" - Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology – with acquired knowledge in learning process, Skills to use it in practice and a certain level of research experience enables to work in general educational institutions, in the penitentiary and probation system, in the banking sector (selection of personnel, and customer service issues) or any state or private organization requiring a professional psychologist and does not require a master's academic degree.
Awarded Qualification

After obtaining the number of credits established by the educational program and submitting a certificate confirming the level of English language knowledge, the graduate is granted Qualification / Academic Degree: The Academic Degree of Bachelor in Social Sciences in Psychology and the graduate is granted a diploma in a form established by the state, the graduate is also granted bilingual diploma supplement, established by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNERCO / CEPES
