The university has hosted the scientific conference

In September 24 2013 the scientific conference has opened at the Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University dedicated to 170th birth anniversary of Niko Nikoladze. The conference was opened with an introductory speech by the Rector of the Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University, Professor Giorgi Matiashvili.
At the plenary session, the greeting and Niko Nikoladze’s life and contribution was reported by Professor Dali Chikviladze and the director of the Niko Nikoladze House - Museum Lia Bibileishvili. There were four sections presented during the conference: journalism, law, economy and business, as well as social studies.

There were selection of international scientific works, presented in terms of the conference, while the hall of the university presented the photo exhibition, describing the life and professional activities of Niko Nikoladze. On the 25th of September the conference participants shall meet the Kutaisi Society of Akaki Tsereteli in the city of Kutaisi.
The closing ceremony of the scientific conference will take place in the house – museum of Niko Nikoladze (in Didi Jikhaishi).
