Faculty of Business and Social Sciences

The goal of the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences is to provide the market with highly qualified managers, marketing specialists, financiers and specialists of tourism.

The Faculty of Business Administration carries out the following Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Programs:

- Tourism (1430101);

- Business Administration (Management, Marketing, Finance) (1430102).

Qualification awarded: Bachelor of Business Administration in Tourism; Bachelor of Business Administration in Management/finance/Marketing.

The programs are accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

After completion of Bachelor’s Degree Programs, the graduates can be employed in state and private structures of economics and business sphere.

The annual fee for Bachelor’s Degree Programs is 2 250 GEL. It can be divided and covered in four stages according to the deadlines set in the contract.

Master’s Degree Programs

- International Business Administration (Joint Master’s Program: GTTU – Birmingham College).

After completion of Master’s Degree program, the graduates will be able to occupy the managerial positions in any sphere of business and economics, as well as in governmental sectors, in the direction of management, marketing and finance.

For Business Administration and Social Sciences Faculty students GTUNI has organized teaching ‘Business incubator’: GT Bank, GT Travel and GT Consulting. Here, the students acquire the skills of application of theoretical knowledge in practice. At the same time, they study specialized e-programs for professional disciplines (’AMADEUS’, ’1C’, ’ORIS’, ‘SUPER FIN’, ‘SPSS’, ‘BANK 2000’, ‘DECISION 2000’). This is also a place, where the students generate new ideas; make up business projects, new tourism products: among them are the booklets on different tourism itineraries. They can have professional practice in the laboratories of teaching incubator (GT Bank and GT Consulting) and be awarded the certificates.

GT Consulting collaborates with scientific consulting centre ‘The Manager of Future’. It delivers trainings in project management, organizational management, practical marketing and assets valuation. The trainings are led by the professional trainers and experts.

Combination of theoretical knowledge with practical experience, outdoor lectures, seminars and trainings, help students appear in real professional environment, where they will have to work after graduation.

The faculty has established the partnership with Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia; Ministry of Finance of Abkhazia; National Service of Public Register; Bank Republic; Scientific Consulting Centre ‘The Manager of Future’, companies: ‘Barambo’, ‘Embawood’ and etc., where the students of Business Administration have professional practice and internships. It significantly increases their employability.

Among the international partners of the faculty are: Haarlem School of Economics, Birmingham College, Charles University in Prague, Rzeszów University in Poland. In partnership with these educational institutions, GTTU carries out exchange programs, joint master’s programs, modular teaching of business administration and etc.

The faculty offers master classes and public lectures with participation of Georgian and foreign specialists, business circles and public officers.
