On April 1, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between GIU and the Georgian One Belt One Road Business House.

The Memorandum was signed by the Rector of GIU, Ms. Eli Elisashvili, and the founder of, Georgian One Belt One Road Business House Mr. Bekar Mikaberidze.

The Georgian One Belt One Road Business House is a successful non-governmental organization operating in Georgia and China, which unites several Georgian and Chinese companies operating in various fields.

Its offices operate in Georgia and China. The main areas of activity of the organization are: import, export, education, tourism, media, production and support of the latest technologies, “Business House” stores.

The memorandum aims to establish cooperation between GIU and the Business House in the implementation of joint projects, development of demanded educational products, internship and employment of GIU students in China.

It is noteworthy that by the initiative of the founder of the Georgian One Belt One Road Business House, Mr. Bekar Mikaberidze, it will be possible to provide air tickets and accommodation for the best candidates selected for internship in China.
