On September 12, 2016 the new academic year has been started at Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University.

University students met with the freshmen at university lobby, they showed them university Lecture rooms, laboratories, and the library and they also delivered them specially prepared Gift packages.

After that the freshmen were invited at the solemnly decorated conference hall where they were waited for academic staff and invited guests.

University Rector, Professor Giorgi Matiashvili congratulated freshmen at the beginning of the new academic, he talked about Educational Programmes and University activities, innovations and future organized events and wished them success.
