On September 7, 2015, the new academic year has started at Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University. University students met freshmen in the hall; they showed them university lecture rooms, laboratories and the library. After that the freshmen were invited in the solemnly organized yard where they were waited by the university professors and invited guests.

University rector professor Giorgi Matiashvili congratulated the beginning of the new academic year to the freshmen and wished them success.

After the solemn ceremony freshmen went to the lecture rooms.
