On March 30, 2023, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University, and the Tskhum-Abkhazia Academy of Sciences.

Within the framework of the memorandum, with the involvement and organization of the parties, joint conferences, educational events, and important scientific projects will be implemented.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the rector of GTUNI, Professor Giorgi Matiashvili, and the president of the Academy of Sciences of Tskhum-Abkhazia, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Temur Chilacava.
