Tjerk Busstra – University’s honorable Doctor

On October 13, 2011 the Doctor of Inholand University (Kingdom of Netherlands) Mr. Tjerk Busstra was awarded the Title of the Honorary Doctor by Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University Academic Council decision.

University Academic staff, students and invited guests who were gathered at the University conference hall expressed once again their respect and gratitude to Mr. Tjerk Busstra.

The solemn ceremony was opened by the Rector of Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University Mr. Giorgi Matiashvili. He talked about Mr. Tjerk’s special merit since 2006 still now.

The Deputy Rector Ms. Maia Ukleba talked about Mr. Tjerk’s contribution and merits. She emphasized Mr. Tjerk as a professional colleague, teacher, adviser and friend that is the leitmotiv for the relationship of Dutch specialist and Georgian colleagues, students and hoped that such attitude and cooperation will be continued.
