A celebration honoring Professor Liu Guanwen's 88th birthday was conducted on May 19, 2023, at Guram Tavartkiladze University.

As the creator of Georgian Sinology, a renowned Chinese language instructor, lecturer, translator, and editor, Mrs. Liu also holds these positions. Additionally, someone who has made a significant and unique contribution to Chinese-Georgian ties.

Attendees at Mrs. Liu's anniversary celebration included Georgian Sinologists, her former pupils, and personnel from the Chinese Embassy, including the Counselor, Education, and Culture Attaché.
