On May 26, 2023, Georgia's Independence Day, the "Youth Consent Act" was signed at the Independence Hall of the National Library of the Parliament of Georgia, which supports European principles.

The act was signed by the presidents of numerous university student governments. Among them is the president of the GTUNI self-government organization.

In addition to higher education institutions, leaders of youth organizations and successful young people signed the act.

A discussion with GTUNI students was held within the context of the act of consent to discuss concerns about European integration and the important ideals expressed in the act of consent.
