New Academic Year Started in GIU

The International University of Georgia opened for classes today, September 18.

An orientation meeting between the directors of the programs and first-year students was held in conjunction with the start of the academic year.

The university's chancellor, Eli Elisashvili, and rector, Professor Giorgi Matiashvili, spoke to the students and wished them luck.

The students heard speeches from Milan Lee, the head of the Korean language department, and Ray Mingmin, a guest lecturer in Chinese language at GIU, during the gathering.

The staff of the International University of Georgia extends its congratulations to the students at the start of the academic year and assures them of an exciting schedule filled with thought-provoking activities.
