On July 13-14, 2023, Nino Bochorishvili, professor of the Law School of the International University of Georgia, Doctor of Law, participated in the international scientific conference held in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The GIU professor presented the following research results at the conference:State of Emergency and Legal Regulation of Crisis Management Caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The aforementioned investigation was conducted under the auspices of the International University of Georgia-funded study, "Problems of protection of human health and other rights in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic and international legal guarantees."

Within the parameters of the study, a legal analysis of the limitations imposed by the government during the pandemic was conducted. This analysis will be useful in the future for determining how the states will respond to similar emergencies so as to prevent confusion, chaos, and illogical behavior during times of crisis.
