Katherine Chavigny: They Cheated! Election Fraud – A Bug or a Feature of American Democracy?

Today, on November 17, 2022, a public lecture was conducted at GTUNI which was organized by the support of Ramaz Lominadze Foundation.

The topic of lecture was the following: “They Cheated! Election Fraud – A Bug or a Feature of American Democracy?”

The speaker was Katherine Chavigny, PhD of History, Professor at Sweet Briar College, Invited Lecturer of the Program in American Studies at Tbilisi State University.

The American guest spoke about the key concepts, related to elections: enfranchisement processes at the USA; suffrage qualifications; rules to conduct elections and other topics connected to elections.

The students of Faculty of Law and Faculty of Business and Social Sciences were attending the lecture.

The meeting was held in an interactive format.
