Guram Tavartkilade Teaching University – The place, where I grew up as a professional and developed as an independent person. This is the university, where I felt myself home right from the start. Amicability of academic staff, rectors and each of the personnel towards students, well-furnished infrastructure, high quality education focused on practical training, lectures and sessions, workshops held in terms of international programs - all these make the Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University valuable and competitive all over Georgia.  

I am happy to have been an excellent bachelor student of this university and a scholarship winner of Guram Tavartkiladze’s scholarship for four years. I was even assisted for my first employment by the university. At present, I am proud and glad to continue my master’s degree at the GTTU.

A small excursus in the court system

On May 18, 2012 Law Faculty students of Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University hosted Mr. Mamuka Akhvlediani, the Chairman of Rustavi Civil Court.

The meeting between Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University and Rustavi Civil court was held within the framework of mutual cooperation memorandum which started its basis on 15 March 2011.

This time Mr. Mamuka conducted public lecture for future Lawyers.

The guest spoke about the reforms of the court system and the news which is interesting in terms of modern technologies. He said that a special web site is being created and through this web site it will be available to get appropriate comments on any items of the civil or criminal codes and it also will make it possible to go through the judicial practice which had been absolutely unavailable before.

Mr. Akhvlediani focused the attention on the future perspectives which will be implemented in the nearest future. In particular: distance relationship to the court and delivering audio and video classes and meetings.

After the small excursus in the court system public lecture got an interactive character.

The practitioner judge answered interested students.
