The contest for occupying academic position

On the announcement of the contest for occupying academic positions:

 Grounds:   article 34 of Law of Georgia ‘on Higher Education’,  Guram Tavartkiladze University regulations and article 1 of the rule for occupying academic positions at Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University.

ORDER:

  1. On 16 September 2011 an open contest is to be announced at Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University for occupying academic positions for the period of 4 years from the approval of the results of the competition.
  2. Applications will be accepted every day, from 19 October 2011 to 03 November 2011, - except weekends from 10.00 to 16.00. The contest will be held on 05 December 2011, the resolution can be appealed in the appeal commission within 3 days. The competition is to be completed and the results are to be published on December 9, 2011.

 3. As a result of the contest, 1 Full professor will be selected .

a) On Business Administration Faculty 1 Full Professor

   In particular:

- On Business Administration Department

1        Full Professor

4. For participation in the contest for occupying academic positions of full Professor participants are required to present:

  • Ph.D. or PhD equivalent degree diploma;
  • Experience in teaching and research at least 6 years
  • The motivation for the position of full professor (1-2 page, AcadNusx - 12, lines spacing 1.5);
  • Discipline / s of the concept of bachelor's and master's levels, according to (3-4 page AcadNusx - 12, lines spacing);
  • Educational and scientific programs ,Syllabus;
  • List of  publications during last five years, original or certified copy.

 The candidates should provide:

  • The document confirming participation in grant project the last three years;
  • The educational program (bachelor's, master's levels) created under his leadership;
  • The copies of certificates confirming high level of qualification, internship, training.

5. All contestants must submit:

  • Application for participation in the competition;
  • Autobiography;
  •  an identity card and 2 (two) copies;
  • Ph.D. or equivalent academic degree diploma certificate (original and copy);
  • Two color photos, size (3X4);
  • Certificate of work experience or an extract from the work-book.

6. The men under 27must present the military ticket or a copy of registration certificate.

7. Information about the selection will be published in the periodical press.

8. The above mentioned resolution is to be published on the university website and in University building in a conspicuous place.
