By the initiated by the President of Georgia, the Georgian Ministry of Education and Science has implemented the summer program for students employment named “Summer Jobs”, which will start on July 20th and end in August 20 2012, throughout the summer holidays.
Participation in employment program will be available for any student of bachelor’s degree from the education institution duly accredited in Georgia.

Twenty five thousand students will get employment throughout this project;

The government will allocate GEL 500 gross per each employed student;

Students, willing to take part in the program of “Summer Job” will be provided with an opportunity to choose employment among 70 vacancies offered (at constructions companies, legal companies, museums, hospitals, self-management organizations, etc.)

Registration can be made online only from March 20 till April 20;
The program “Summer Job" does not mean internship, or employment according to student’s profession. However, the student’s profession may appear in the list of vacancies. However, Students will mostly get employed not according to their professions, as it might not appear in the list of employments and/or not requested from the side of potential employers.
The project ”Summer Job" is aimed at qualification raise among the students, obtaining work experience in the field, he/she is likely to get employed in future. The money, earned during this program will enable the student to support their studies or use it for traveling, spending a holiday, or finance continuous education etc.
