The Supreme Court Chairman delivered a public lecture and a memorandum of cooperation was signed

Today on April 13 the Supreme Court Chairman Doctor of Law, Professor Nino Gvenetadze visited Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University.

The meeting was aimed at introducing the ongoing processes in the court system to the students and professors and the planning of the future cooperation between Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University and the Supreme Court of Georgia. Which in itself, will contribute a realization of intellectual, creative and professional potential to the Bachelors and Masters level students, the improvement of legal education and students’ professional training, In the learning process the strengthen of their theoretical knowledge with practical skills, the formation of specialized competencies and finally adequate preparation of qualified personnel in labor market.

The guest visited the infrastructure of the University, material and technical base, the Moot court hall equipped with modern facilities, criminalistic laboratory and the library. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court comprehensively discussed the juvenile justice code.

At the end of the meeting Nino Gvenetadze answered the students’ questions.
