On February 24 2016 the world day of public reading was celebrated in Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University.

Poet Alika Darchiashvili visited the university on this occasion. The poet met with the students and read poems by Kote Kubaneishvili, Mikhail Kvlividze and Otar Chelidze.

At the end of the meeting the guest read his own poems too.

The world day of public reading was celebrated by the initiative of Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association.
