Today, on May 11, simulated trial was held at Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University; organized by the Faculty of Law, provided on the criminal case of the Criminal Code of Georgia, Article 109 (premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances).

The mock trial was participated by the first year students of the Master degree program. Such kind of studies established in the university contributes to the students' intellectual, creative and realization of professional potential, the improvement of the quality of the higher legal education, to strengthen practical skills with already obtained theoretical knowledge in the learning process, as well as the formation of specialized competencies and the training of qualified personnel for the labor market.

The mock trial was attended by the status of experts’ of The Georgian Supreme Court, Tbilisi Appeal Court, and Tbilisi City Court as well as the representatives of Prosecutor’s Office. After the completion of the court session the experts expressed their opinion assessed the progress of the session, the action of the presented parties in the process and gave appropriate instructions to the future colleagues.
