Public Lecture: Do we need the green economics?

On November 26, 2014 at Guram Tavartkiladze Teaching University Deputy Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Protection Mr. Teimuraz Murghulia conducted the public lecture: Do we need the "green" Economics?

The Deputy Minister explained in detail to the students what is the "green" Economics, What is the meaning of the three degrees warming, what would be the result if this process develops and what works are to be undertaken to mitigate climate change, what is the connection of Georgia to this process, Which sectors should be based on economic progress up to 2030 period, What does the state do for "the green" economics and what they do specifically in terms of the Environment and Natural Resources Protection.

Teimuraz Murghulia talked about this too that ignoring the principles of the “green” Causes the technological and social progress ignorance. It will lead to the dynamic efficiency ignorance and this will cause unsustainable competitiveness.

After completing the lecture the Deputy Minister answered the students' questions.
