Today is the fourth day that Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University has switched to the format of distance learning and the online learning platform is working at full capacity.
Real-time lectures on "Live" and educational materials uploaded on the online learning platform allow all university students to be provided with educational materials provided by the syllabi of educational programs, without leaving home.
"It must be said that it was not difficult for our university to switch to online education. With the maximum involvement of the academic staff, educational process management and science, information technology and technical support services, as well as administrative staff, we have created all the conditions for our students to continue the educational process in a normal way. That is why I want to thank them for their hard work and outstanding professionalism.
The material and technical base of the university and the latest high-tech equipment allow no student to face any problems in the learning process.
As you know, the duration of working remotely depends on the developments in the country and we do not know how long the online training will last. However, the university is ready to work in this format throughout the semester, "- said the rector of the university, Professor Giorgi Matiashvili.
