The Georgian-Ukrainian Institute of Languages and Culture was opened in GTUNI

At Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University, the Georgian-Ukrainian Institute of Languages and Culture was inaugurated today, November 4.

The Georgian-Ukrainian Institute of Languages and Culture has been established in order to advance the scientific and educational goals of the two nations' populations.

Professor Giorgi Matiashvili, rector of the Guram Tavartkiladze Tbilisi Teaching University, gave the event's opening remarks. Eli Elisashvili, the university's chancellor, and Zoya Adamia, a doctor of philology and the director of the Institute of Georgian-Ukrainian language and culture, welcomed the guests.

Tatiana Kolotilova, the first secretary of the Ukrainian Embassy in Georgia, as well as Valentina Marjanishvili, a representative of the Ukrainian diaspora in Georgia, all attended the ceremony.
